I think 99% of the tattoos you see totally blow. You wonder what the people were thinking. But the good ones are very good. I was in Mexico and some guy had a conquistador on a horse holding a lance, they were both skeletons. Very well done. By far the coolest I have ever seen.

I saw in a tat mag a girl who had a tattoo of skeleton wings and the backbone running down her backbone. I thought it was interesting.

Besides all of mine, which are totally awesome? At a tattoo convention a few years back I saw the Four Horsemen...it was beautifully done. Amazing backpiece. Its been in Tattoo magazine but I don't remember which issue. That was by far the best tattoo I've ever seen.

I saw a Greg Irons Gregor the Baboon tattoo. That was totally cool for me.
(Greg Irons was an underground cartoonist of the 60s and 70s who stopped cartooning to apply himself to tattooing. He went to Bangkok, where he was run over by a bus and killed)

I don't know about coolest, but there was one that kind of scared the piss out of me. Ever see anyone with a tattoo done in blacklight reactive ink? I hadn't either, until I went out one night, started talking to this friend of a friend and we both walked indoors were it was dark. I just paused, dumbfounded by his "glowing" tattoos. He thought it was funny and stepped outside, then back inside.
Now you see it, now you don't....

All my tats totally kick ***.
The best I've ever seen though was an "oriental-style" dragon starting on the side of this guy's neck and it's tail wrapped on the other side of his neck. Very very cool.
I don't think ANY tats blow...well, maybe just the "tramp stamp" all the bimbos are getting.

Apart from mine? It was one I saw in a magazine. It was a white tattoo etched in pink, it was an atom with the orbits, it was the first white tattoo I'd seen and I thought it was amazing.

in florida i saw a girl with a forest on her back! it had lots of flowers and plants and tress, it was so colourful my family and i couldnt stop staring, it was actually so amazing, it was very very well done. i hope the get a tattoo as striking as hers some day!

well, i have this fascination with angel wings, so the coolest tattoo i've ever seen was two feathery angel wings that covered most of the persons back. good detail

i think i saw it on tv. it was these 22 flowers and 22 petals "falling" down this girl's back. she was turning 21 so she was getting the tattoo for like a new start. the 22nd flower and petal were for good luck. it was soooo beautiful!!!

I knew a guy in the military who had the word "SWAN" tattoed on his penis. He was wounded and ended up in a Saigon hospital. I asked one of his nurses if she had seen the tattoo. She said she had while she was giving him a sponge bath, but, she said, the word wasn't SWAN, it Was Saskatoon, Sasketchewan, where he was born.
