am getting married next year to a wonderful guy. When we first started dating we were the total opposits. I was very reserved, didn't want to show any kind of affection (not even hug, kiss or hold hands). I blamed it on my culture because in my culture I cannot show affection to a guy before I get married. I didn't even know if I was attracted to him or had chemistry with him. We arguied like crazy. I had bad habbits like getting up late & over spending my money. But this spring I woke up. One day I realized I was falling in love with him & I had to change my behavior & bad habbits to win his love. It worked like a magic. Now I am so attracted to him, we don't argue, I can't stop kissing, hugging & hold hands, I love him & I get up early, save my money, do alot of hard work (not be lazy). He told me one day that if I didn't change he would have left me. Because he didn't want to be with someone who doesn't show any kind of love. But I feel sad when I think that I almost lost him why?

It seems that you've saved yourself some serious heartache, wisely. He obviously loves you, since he'd put up with your antics. You are perhaps feeling a little guilty about your former behaviour and are therefore feeling sad. No harm done you have changed for the better and in turn saved your relationship. You should not dwell on the past, but enjoy the present.

you realized that there were things that didn't satify his ideas of a relationship, you've turned things around, and it sounds like your happy. it also sounds like your unsure if that was the best thing to do, as long as it was something that you wanted to change for you then everything will be fine, you both are happy, opposites attract, and the sound of wedding bells are ringing. you should be happy because a lot of people deal with the same things, but they never realize what they couldv'e changed, or how they couldv'e made it better until they have too much time to think about it, when they are lonely and single. he has helped you want to change for the better- that's always a happy ending

I don't understand your question. It sounds like this person changed you in a mostly good way. There's nothing wrong with that as long as you are happy. Congratulations!

why you lost him-because of your own culture- you have to cultivate the fertile land and to watch how green looks like.

You feel sad because it hurts you to know he was so close to leaving him. You are hurt because he was basically (but unintentionally) making you feel guilty.
