depends on the girl! and also: depends on HOW GREAT your personality, or HOW GREAT your looks....and then also: tastes differ...so if say, Orlando Bloom would be outside singing me a seranade but turn out to be a real dick i would say NAY thanks, and if someone "ordinary looking" (whatever that is) or Not-So-Hot with a great personality would be doing the same id say YAY!!!.....I've fallen for both....both are appealing in a way; but beauty will never win someone's heart....my best/most intense experiences were with men with a personality that made me go SWOON rather than their looks...in fact: their personalities made their outer appearance really appealing to me (regardless of backhair, chubbiness, beginning baldness etc....) ;-)

Us women like the men with the best personality. Looks dont make a person. A man has got to be able to make me laugh,,,,because im a funny person so i need the same thing back. Noone wants an over confident cocky man.Ewww what a turn off. Just be yourself and dont pretend to be someone you are not.

I went with a guy once regardless of his looks- merely his personality and when we kissed it was so uncomfortable for me as there was no chemistry on my part. He was a nice person, but I should never have gone out with him cause I never really found him physically attracted. I always regretted dating him as we were friends first but we never spoke since I broke it off. A girl MUST be attracted to a guy, I think personality is extremely impt and its easy to be put off by someon'es personality, but looks are impt too. Good looking guys with a nice personality, who aren't cocky are the best! Hard to find though!!

So if I was faced with a good looking guy with a great personality, and a less good looking guy with a great personality, who would I choose? The good looking one obviously! BUT, if there was a good looking guy with a crap personality, and a less good looking guy with a great personality, then I'd choose him. To me, personality means more than looks...but I wouldn't forfeit looks altogether just to get the perfect personality. So what I'm trying to say is, looks are important, personality is more important, but there has to be a good balance, and I'd rather have a happy medium, than an extreme of either one.

You look for different things in different people. Some time good looking is good. I think must women would like the whole package a nice person who is easy on the eye.

obviously looks matter to an extent, but personality more important. would be really good to have both though or at least a good mix. looks are usually what attracts people to talk in the first place though.x

you can't ask stuff like that...they LOVE both! they have to be confident good looking and have a great personality...but usually they choose the good looking and with an average personality.
things aren't that simple...try to have bit of everything and you won't have problems.

On first glance it'd be the looks. But if he's got no personality to match - then forget it. I fancied my fella's best mate first because he was the good looking one - but then got chatting to his mate (my fella) who had a fantastic personality and we've now been married for 14 years.

I like personality because if you are hot and confident but you are an a**hole then I wouldn't want anything to do with ya. If you are good looking and not a self centered prick that's much better.
