I personally don't like it that much...I guess as far as technology goes, I think people are getting a little too advanced, and I really don't understand why scientists and others are trying so hard to clone people or make robots that look and act like us. For what? We have enough people in the world as it is, and the whole point of natural conception and birth would be sort of diminished. It's 2006 and people are lazier, bummier, and have no sense of what life is supposed to be all about. Everything is always so complex. Kids are more disrespectful and ignorant than they ever have been. Music has turned into crap. I mean honestly, I'd rather hear about hope and goodness than about what kind of liquor a certain "artist" likes to drink while slappin their bit-ches...In fact, most people in music aren't artists...most of them have no talent and were just lucky to be where they are. The general public is at most to blame because they support these idiots in exploiting women and teaching our children to do everything thats wrong. So to answer your question...no, 2006 is a horrible year and I hope this nation can change soon because I feel like our way of life has just turned in garbage and the rest of the world is starting to see that.

I know this is 9 year ago but my god people hated technology back then? I would rather have been born in early 90s and lived in 2006 as an adult than growing to be an adult in 2015

The modern conveniences are very nice but where we gain in technology, we lose in a human sense. We're in an unnecessary war with our military members coming home blind, maimed, crippled, or in boxes. The ERA was not passed and women earn only 71 cents to every dollar men earn.........Public schools need improvement......... We could do alot at home with all the billions of dollars being wasted in Iraq. Its a lost cause......... Sounds like you have a job.... and its not in one of those call centers overseas.

Best year yet. Stock market is at an all-time high... bought house when interest rates and costs were down (lots of equity even in a lull), the US is FINALLY taking the threat of attack on US soil seriously, business is booming... what is there not to like about '06.

LOL...this is sturdy...#sixteen you have greater rings on your crotch then you certainly do on your ear. #17-Your hair is purple and you haven't any longer reached retirement yet. #18 you need to scope out common colleges to finally end up a "virgin" (i understand, that one replaced into undesirable)...this is exciting, yet this is all i will think of of for now.
