I know that I would have no problrm with a girl asking me to marry her, but I wonder about the ring. Is it for you or for him. Is there such thing as an engagement ring for a guy? I strongly encourage you to take the step of asking him to marry you,. It will be a great story to tell your kids. As far as the manner in which to do it, I would recommend doing it during a private, romantic moment immediately before Christmas. That way when you see your relatives, you can relate the good news. Good luck!

Well, I don't think you should ask him to marry you yet. You grab him by his balls and drag him into a quiet room and smack him hard. Then ask him what he's waiting for. It's alot of pressure for a guy to be hassled by his girl to get married. It's a big commitment that takes a long of time to come to turns with. Another big issue is his financial status maybe he's scared he can't support you or vice-versa. Is he still in school? That's another factor that comes into play. Men want to be on their feet and stable before they make the biggest change of the rest of their lives. If it's been like 5 years and he's making the "mad-phat" cash and has is own home, car, career etc. Talk to him.

This can all be disregarded if he's just a sissy. Then ask him.

Well... it's usually the guys job to ask the girl to marry him but, hey the world is changing after all, Just ask, if he is already saying that you're his wife to everybody then he wouldn't have a problem actually making it true. So I say...Go For It! Goodluck!
(Honey? Will you marry me?) Good way to go about it I think...well it works in the movies anyhow.

if he wants to marry you then he will propose to you. i dont think its a womans job to do that. it makes you look a little desperate. if he wants to marry you he will bring it up. what if you propose and he says no?

Please go and read "Why Men Marry Bitches" by Sherry Argov. It will tell you exactly why you should NOT propose to your man.
