Okay, so he's not cheap because he has bought me a $30.00 present and another $40.00 present for my birthday and christmas. But the other day he brought over a bag of crane game toys that he's had for years and said he wanted me to hide them because they were my daughters birthday presents. They are covered in cat hair (my daughter is allergic to cats) and I just thought it was very disrespectful. I'm not wanting a fancy $100 toy, but at least a $5 something....not dirty, allergen covered toys from under his bed.

What do you think? Am I right to feel that his gift was...less than satisfactory.

(She is not his daughter, but they do have a bond)

You're not wrong. He sounds like a cheap skate who's too self centered to think of someone elses feelings. Happy birthday to your daughter too.

Yeah, he has every right to be pissed off! 1. Your son is 4 YEARS OLD, not 4 months old! Get him off the breast! Something tells me he's still in diapers too! 2. It's in HER house and she's sitting at HER table, and you just plop down and lift your boobs to nurse your kid! "If he was a good father he would have stuck up for me and spanked that little b*tch right then and there for being so disrespectful". So you're the epitome of modesty? My, I'm so humbled. And you wanna talk about disrespect? You called her a "total snotty, spoiled b*tch"!
