Everyone keeps telling me after my EX dumped me that it's his loss. Why don't I believe that? Logically, it makes sense. I am a great girl (honest, loyal, smart, pretty)... and he has SO many realtionship issues (cheating, selfish, cheap, etc.). Man... I want to feel like I've gained something out of this! How do I start feeling that way?

If he cheated & was selfish & cheap then you really aren't missing out on anything. I think you need to just keep telling yourself that you are the better person. If you have the qualities you say then you'll find someone else that has the same qualities & you will be a much happier person.

A cheating, selfish, cheap man is not worth the time of day. You have most definitely gained plenty by being well rid of a cad like that. The most important thing you have learned (I hope) is that you don't want to be treated like that ever again. Chin up and smile. Lucky you that it ended before it caused you even more emotional pain. He is not worth the credit you are giving him by thinking that you've lost something by being rid of him. By being rid of him you have been given a chance to meet someone much more worthy of your time and attention.

Ask yourself what you lost out on ?? Hes a cheating liar so what exactly are you missing out on ? What you have gained is experience in how to spot a cheating liar. Take the knowledge and make a better selection next time and remind yourself how lucky you are that he dumped you.

the only thing you've lost is that relationship, the connection you two had. you didn't lose a perfect man- look at the issues you said he had, it just takes some time to get over any relationship. everyone at some time feel sorry for themselves, or a little depression. once you grow fond of something you hate when you lose it or break it, ever broke your favorite cd, or broke the heel of your favorite pumps? time heals everything. look at it like this, now your single, free to do what you want, free to meet the type of man that he wasn't ( faithful, giving, careless) ther's always something better

You have learned to recognize serious relationship issues and next time you will avoid getting involved with people who have them right away, rather than wasting time on these types. That lesson may seem small to you, but some people never learn. Isn't it valuable to know that you have standards and healthier boundaries now?

Stand up and let him know HAH, I win you lose sucker. Dont let him see you botherd by it. It makes a man get off when you do that. Let him know I dont care about it or you anymore. We can always find us another man, it just a womenly nature. Go get someone else.
