I'm very interested in Crime Scene Investigation but more interested in the photography part of it for now until I know whether or not I could handle the Investigative parts.
Are there schools you go to? Or does every city have a training course in it?
I really would like to figure it out.

David's wrong I'm afraid. Forensic means simply with respect to a court of law or jurisprudence, therefore forensic photography merely means photography used for court purposes. Crime scene photography relates in broadest terms to photographing the scene of a crime, whether that be a homicide or a burglary. It may also involve photographing scenes/subjects of suicide or accidental death (ie RTA's) which although not strictly speaking are 'crimes' but for which the coroner requires photographic clarification. So yes crime scene photography is the same thing as forensic photography, but it encompasses more than just a 'scene'.

You'll first need to know WHAT to photograph. To learn that, take Criminal Justice courses, either online or at a community college near you. Contact your local police department and find out who their crime photographer is. Ask the photographer if you can apprentice or work for free, until you've learned enough to be on your own.
