For those who don't know a black and tan is Bass Ale on Bottom and Guiness Stout on top. Black Velvet is Pear Ale on Bottom and Guiness Stout on top.
In my opinion, the Black Velvet looks the best, but the Black and Tan taste the best.

Black and Tan always!
Although I did have Guiness with Orange juice
once that was quite good (hornet/wasp?)
Guiness with Coke was not for me!

Black and Tan is English and in my opinion the best
