Why, trying to socialize yourself into feelings? If you don't feel anything - then don't, easier to breathe. I remember once I had a Canadian opening in taekwondo... Couldn't sleep almost all night before it, could barely stand in the ring. So, if you can, forget about what you're suppose to feel and get distracted or something, take your mind off of it if you think you're ready. Or practice if you're not. But it'd suggest the first one either way.

I'd be very happy cause this can prepare you for bigger contests. For example(I practice kung-fu) last year I haven't been to provincials and my coach took me directly to the nationals.I was very scared cause it was my first contest and it was important.I didn't know what to do and I had plenty of emotions.I was lucky with some of my friends and my coach. They encouraged me a lot and I managed to get the bronze medal even if my legs were shaking of emotions.A provincial contest or any other smaller contest,I think would have prepared me for the nationals

I can't tell you how to feel, but if you consider the tournament to be special training, and not focus on the hardware, you will get more out of it. Treat it as a learning experience, which it truly is. And being nervous is fine; it's part of the challenge to perform under pressure.
