This is how it starts I've been potty training my daughter for about three months now and she had it down pack there were no accidents happening not even at night she was getting up in the night also letting me know every single time she had to use the potty. Now we are on the fourth month and she has a accident if not twice a day or more. I really need help understanding why she is going backwards. She was doing so well, now not so good is there any doctors or any one can help me understand my childs potty training.

I don't have a good answer but can relate. My daughter - I don't even want to mention her age - has been having accidents again too. I'm trying to make a big deal out of her successes - stickers on a chart, M&M's, other rewards and trying to down play her failures but it is hard. I'm not sure what her problem has been the last few days but before we started the reward system again, I think she just wanted attention.

Also, if it is only wetting of the pants, you may want to call your pediatrician. When my daughter backslid this time, I called the Dr's office. He said we could test her urine to make sure she didn't have an infection which could cause wetting accidents.

trust me it could be worse.my 2 year old was fully potty trained as well.one day i came up from doing laundry and saw that he had ripped off his underwear and pooped on the floor.i asked why he did it and he said he didnt know.i think it takes a while for them to really become potty trained and in time shell get there.

potty roller-coaster you will run in to that a lot of times in your process but don't get disappointed all this has to happen for your little girl to be totally potty trained

Sometimes toddlers digress when they start to feel independant. Reward her with things and tell her shes doing really well. Sometimes they digress if something happened. Family tradegy or something in school. Talk to her. I know shes young , but they will tell you if somethings bothering you.Good luck.
