Believe that atheists are devil-worshippers?
Nowhere is there a definition for atheism that says 'worships the devil'.
The only definition I am aware of is that atheists believe in no gods.
We don't even believe in the devil.
I have always thought that the belief in the devil would be called satanism.
Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Any one that is opposite of God or rejects him is an enemy against God therefore is of Satan.

I do agree, to an extent. You see, I view myself as both an atheist and a Satanist. Do you know what modern Satanism is? It's the "religion" created by Anton Szandor LaVey in 1966. It doesn't imply devil worship whatsoever, none. In fact, most Satanists are also atheists. A devil worshipper is a devil worshipper, and that tends to be different from actual Satanism. Just in case you wanted to know.

Your right. I'm a Christian and I've never accused an Atheist of worshiping the devil. Devil worshipers are the opposite of Atheism, as they actually believe in the super natural and worship it. If some do accuse atheists of worshiping the devil, they either don't understand devil worship, atheism, or most probably, either of them

Atheist are Gods children who are like the prodigal sons and daughters,,who have left home only to return with opening arms to their Father..They are blinded because of the world(satan controls) they are being called by their Father in many ways,now some will come back home but some will not..It is the same with Christains there are some who are truly serving the Lord and some who just use the name..All will be judge when our Messiah(Jesus Christ) comes back to receive His Children!!!

Athiest dont belive in any gods. Most are likely secular humanists.
(True) Satanist dont believe in any gods either, however they do belive in some magic mumbo-jumbo. It's true that they call themselves satanists to mock christianity - they also rejected a gov't offer to not pay taxes since they were a religion...they said they were a business.
Satanists that torture cats in the woods are attempting to worship satan, although real satanists probably think they are wacko.

By logic, someone who does not believe in God, would not beleibe in Satan.

According to the 3 Abrahamic religions, one does not follow the truth (believe in God & his prohphets) because he's seduced by devil.
So as I said earlier atheists, do not believe in presence of devil (common sense), but unconsciously they are seduced by him (according to the 3 religions) & that's why they don't believe in God,
(sorry for those who gave me thump-ups, They may want to change their minds now, but I'm just explaining why believers think that atheists are satan's worshippers)

Because they believe that anyone who doesn't worship God is serving the devil's purpose.
I know atheists don't "worship" satan, because they don't believe in him, but...you're not serving God if you're an atheist. So who are you serving? Yourself? What is self?
Think on that for awhile.

You are correct, athiests believe that God and Satan do not exist. And I believe Satan exists but I am not a Satanist. People who are satanists follow the devil.

No, you are correct. Atheists believe in nothing. They have faith in nothing. No reason for people to have the ability for love, or compassion, or any other emotion. The sad thing is that their disbelief makes them belong to Satan. It's his greatest trick. Convincing man that he does not exist. It has gotten him more people's souls than outright evil deeds have. You may believe in nothing, but Satan believes in you. As does God. You being an atheist serves the will of God. All things serve the will of God. Your belief in nothing makes Christians realize how fortunate we are to be able to take God's existence on faith, and believe we will be rewarded if we live according to His way, instead of our own. Any foolish man can go on living life his/her own way. The book of Psalms says "The fool hath said in his heart,'There is no God.'" I truly pity atheists and their ability to believe in nothing.

generally true,
but i think that at least some satanists are really atheists as well.
they dont bellieve he exists, but 'worship' him as a way of spiting the church and use satan as a symbol for making the most out of life
im sure there are some wackos who really think the devil exists and worship him too though
however, according to christianity, anyone who doesnt follow god has been corrupted by satan, whether they worship him or not..........i think

It's kind of the religious equivalent of "you're either for us or against us". You either believe in God and His Gospel, or whether you know it or believe it or not, you're working for Satan. It's an either or belief.
