True love is holding out your hand to someone who needs to hold it. Quietly listening when someone needs to talk. Holding someone who needs warmth upon their hurting heart. Encouraging the lowly and being a friend to the misunderstood.
Just being there. Jesus showed true love when he opened His arms upon that wooden beam and still forgave the people who drove the nails in. He is there for me, so I - in turn - am there for others.

Love is paient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love is not rude, is not selfish, and does not get upset with others. Love does not cound up wrongs that have been done. Love is not happy with evil but is happy with the truth. Love patiently accepts all things. It always trusts, always hopes, and always remains strong. Love never ends.

God is love. True love is pure, not physical, but spiritual. (logical deduction)
