Two months ago I started emailing someone of a well known dating site, it then led on to msn messaging and texting, and finally phone calls... we text loads each days, he always seems interested in what im doing and in me as a person, i have seen loads and loads of pics of him and vise versa.... he lives 1.5 hrs away and we have planned for him to come stay with me for the weekend.... now we have spoken about sleeping arrangements and he said he would be happy with the floor/ sofa even before i said anything, now i know ideally it would be nice if he lived locally and we could go on a few dates first, but its not gonna happen cos of distance and he doesnt drive, and with the amount of contact on the phone, email, txt w have had i fel like we have had our first few dates allready... im just wondering what peoples ideas on sex in this situation are... i am a very sexual person and know if things go well i will probably want to takes things further, but also i want him 2like me 4me!!!

Depends where you want the relationship to end up. I went through the same sort of thing and the first time he came to my place we knew it was for sex. That was February and he moved in at the beginning of September

If the chemistry is right and you both want to then dont worry about what anyone else thinks!
Modern dating and communication techniqes mean that we get to know each other more intimately than we did in the past. There are people I have never met in person who I feel I know more intimately than friends I have had for years.

Lots of people here are gonna give you stupid answers about exactly when it would be right, ignore them! Dont plan it, just go with the flow and prepare yourself for either eventuality.

been in a simular situation, we have now been together 5 half yrs and got 2 kids and are as happy as the day we met!
Go with the moment, but keep protected!
good luck hope it all works out, lets face it how many people sleep with someone they have just met at a bar, and know nothing about! if i had a pound for everyone! im be a millionaire!
please let someone else know he is with you just in case he is some nutter thats been grooming you ! pls pls .! dont forget!

You know what, I am actually going through that at this present time. I will be home this weekend and I've been talking to this female for about a month now. We're definitely gonna have sex. There's nothing wrong with it because she trusts me and I won't do anything to hurt her.

See how it goes, when you meet him in person you might not fancy him as much, or it could be fireworks! If you are sexually aware then you are the one who should know when it's right.

BTW, 1.5 hours isn't much if you really fancy each other, and both of you should learn to drive!

I think you should! If he's hot go for it. Just ask him what he thinks about it. I had sex with my boyfriend on our 2 date. We have been going out for 2 years so much fun!
