I have 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, and they're feet lickers!!! They go nuts for feet....why do you think thst is?

It maybe dominance. Mine like to lick my wet legs after I have showered, they also expect me to hang a leg over the bath, so they can have a lick. I have stopped having baths, and don't allow them to lick my legs anymore and I find my female (does that surprise any of you) listens more often to me than before.

I have a 4 year old medium Shar-Pei and he likes to try and suck on my feet all the time. My boyfriends dogs are yellow labs and they just like licking period. It doesn't matter what part of you, foot, face, elbow they are constantly trying to lick.
It's just a dog thing!

I had one that liked to lick off water after coming out of the shower.

My friends' dogs and cats are feet lickers, i have no idea why they do it but i think its funny every time.

They all like to lick feet. Feet have sweat and taste salty.

Mine does too ... sticks her head up under the duvet to reach my toes with her tongue.
I'm not really sure that I like her doing it ... & no, no idea as to why ... except that maybe they smell good ... though that might be the doggy definition of what smells good. Ick!
