If you want hair to grow faster or more healthy, you have to take supplements that work on your body chemistry to support hair's growth and strength at its genesis.....once it has grown out, it is just dead keratin
Try GNC, they make a supplement called " Ultra Nourishair" in formulas for men and women..they are HUGE pills and you have to take 2 daily. There is also a "Hair skin and nails" formula from Andrew Lessman that you can google, that has great ingredients and is easier to swallow, made by ProCaps labs. You can also take large doses of Biotin, sometimes called Vitamin H, take no less than 2500 micrograms daily to support healthy hair growth. It may take 6 to 8 weeks to see results.
have taken the GNC pills for 4 months and supplemented them with extra Biotin because they only have 1200 mcg of Biotin and you should try for a minimum of 2500 micrograms.
I am switching to Procaps labs capsules when I run out of the GNC because Procaps formula has more Biotin in a more pure form with more of the trace elements that support healthy hair growth.
I take about 5000 micrograms which equals 5 milligrams of Biotin daily and my hair is growing fast and thick and dark.

You must get regular trims, split ends will continue to split further up the hair shaft and eventually break off, resulting in the look of shorter hair.
Invest in a good ceramic flat iron and use products made for straigtening hair. They will have the correct balance of alcohol and conditioners and damage you hair less and even protect it.
Don't bother with "Deep treatments" simply use a regular heavy conditioner, wrap your head in saran wrap and let sit for 1/2 hour. Applying a hood dryer or steam will make it even better. I like the Regis line Olive Oil Conditioner.
Also, if you can avoid it, don't wear your hair up, the elastics and pins will cause further breakage.
Eating healthy and drinking lots of water will help the hair grow faster.

First u should stop using the iron to straighten your hair even if it is quicker and easierl...You should also consider getting a hair cut to get all the spit ends out, then your hair still get growing again. The product that I recommend taking is Biotin, you should find it in any store like Walgreens...This help your hair, nails, and skin to be healthy...I take this vitamin for my hair..

I once got my long hair fried by sitting in a hot tub with WAY too much chlorine! I used intensive conditioners, and would put it on and leave it on for about 20-30 minutes a few times a week.
Then you get some sort of leave in conditioner (like V05 creme in a tube) and put that on. This will smooth down the split ends so that they don't catch like a hang nail and continue to split.
About straightening the hair....my hair is curly. But if I use the blow dryer I can straighten it that way with very little damage.
There is also a product called M-T-G by a company called Shapelys. They are on the internet. The M-T-G was actually made for horses, but it works great on people. It says it brings as much as 4" of growth in a month. I have used it on myself as an intensive conditioner. But here is the thing...it smells like liquid smoke. So, I put it on, let it sit for about 30 minutes, then shampoo it out. If you go to their web site, scroll down the product page, and you can find sample sizes for cheap. The sample size should last you a long time.
Good luck.
Good luck!

The hair is not just a part of your body and it is a symbol of beauty, status and health. It is important for you to take proper care of your health in order to prevent early hair loss. Learn here https://bitly.im/aL9QU It is not a very serious problem and with a little bit of caution you will be able to prevent further hair loss. There are certain uncontrollable factors like pregnancy conditions or certain illness or genetic factors that will result in hair loss. But, this does not mean that you cannot do something about your hair loss.

Sweetie, why are you straightening your hair with a clothes iron? That's the worst thing to do to your hair, Thea. If you can, please make an appointment IMMEDIATELY with your beautician and have HER fix your hair. Right now, your hair is beyond what you can do yourself and you need professional products and a good trim to get your hair back on the road to health. You're not going to see the results of your hair getting back healthy and growing if you don't get rid of the damaged areas......and the iron....:-) Please stop wearing it up, you're pulling your already weak hair strands and it's leading to your hair breakage and thinning. When you are able to go to your beautician, ask what products she would suggest that you use on your hair to keep it healthy in between visits (a good stylist will tell you). One thing, I know she will suggest is to invest in a ceramic flat iron to straighten your hair. It's safer than an clothes iron and healthier. Drink lots of water and take multi-vitamins to aid in the growth, moisture, and health of your hair. Good luck, babygirl.

The only way to fix that is to cut it off (the dead/split ends!) to even it out....I know because I nearly ruined my hair w/ home relaxer kits; one side was longer than the other due to rampant split ends destroying my hair. The best thing to do is to go to a professional where they can help with strengthening conditioners and cut it to make it grow healthy again.
My hair is doing much better thanks to regular visits to the salon and intense conditioning at home when I can't afford to go!

Trimming your chop up ends will provide your hair a healthy sleek groomed visual charm and it will seem to make your hair strengthen longer. It won't unquestionably make it strengthen swifter, yet via retaining it precise groomed it is going to look in good shape and eye-catching, and with stable care it is going to strengthen longer with the aid of fact you're taking good care of it greater desirable.

Get your ends trimmed. Stop straigtening your hair, or using any heat. Condition your hair a lot. Wear it up until it grows back. Then leave your hair alone.

Try Herbal Essences strenthening shampoo and contitioner. I used to have the exact same problem, just not as badly. And you really need to get a real flat iron, if you use a clothes iron too much eventually it'll ruin your hair so much that you'll go bald...
