I got hitched for 25 bucks in Alamogordo NM. This was back in 2002. I really never regret it because my husband and I were 21yrs old pregnant and poor. Next year we are celebrating our 5 years. We are going to renew our vows and going all out with our ceremony. We are much more financially able, and I never regret eloping. Good Luck on your decision.

It depends on whether or not your state has a judge fee or not. If not its just the cost of the license which is between $20 and $45 in all states.

9 1/2 years ago I got married in a court house and it was $35.oo for the marriage license. You should contact your city court house and ask of the charges, it may vary from state to state.

It's the cheapest kind of wedding, but the cost varies depending on your state, county, etc. Usually under $100. The pastor of your church would do it for the same amount in his study, too.

You will have to pay for the marriage license and for the justice of the peace or for a minister. I paid $34.50 for the license and $50 for the justice of the peace.
