Sorry to say, but it sounds like too much!! My motto for my wedding was simple yet elegant...everything turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined it.

I am not so sure if orange and turquoise will look good together. Turquoise is a beautiful color and also a color that is not often used in weddings,.So I think you chose a great color. I would agree that turquoise and chocolate brown is beautiful together for a fall wedding. My co-worker's daughter used chocolate brown and turquoise for her wedding and those colors were gorgeous together. Below are a few links to help you with ideas with the turquoise. I think fuchsia pink or a light green would look nice with your main color also. Good Luck.

I think orange might look nice in little bits. Not huge amounts of it but the orange would really make the turquoise pop. Just make sure the turquoise is in greater amounts than the orange and use a good amount of white to kind of blend it together.

Hi, first of all let me tell you the same thing i tell all brides. it is your wedding, your day, and you do whatever you want for your wedding.
if you want to wear a fur trimmed gown in july - do it!
if you want a medieval wedding in the forest - do it!
if you want to wear blue jeans, carry daisies and get married in a park- just do it! it is your day and you want it to reflect your tastes, not your florist, not your wedding planner, not your family and friends, yours!
hopefully you will only get married once and it should be something you can look back on and have no regrets!
now, colors: go to your local art store. not the florist, not the fabric store, not the wedding planner. the art supply store. ask them for a couple of color charts for paints. preferably handpainted color charts - they give you a truer idea of color. now go home and play.
cut the chart up so that each color chip with its name is a separate piece.
now you can take the colors you are interested in and sit them together and see what you like.
you will find there are a hundred different oranges and many shades of turquoise, and i am sure you will find a combination you like. take that to your dress maker and florist and tell hem that is what you want!
i think your color idea is great - you just need to find the right shade.
have fun with it all, have a great wedding and remember it isn't the wedding that counts.............its the marriage!
best of luck to you!

I'm a floral designer. For fall weddings, typically it's reds, oranges, yellows, creams, etc. (light) pinks are pretty summery unless it's and early fall wedding (sep-oct) i would advise againts orange AND tuorquoise for the sheer clashing effect. darker pinks can carry thru early fall. tuorquoise and white might be rather striking if that is your must-have color. check on some wedding websites as well as floral shops to get some ideas to inspire you! good luck!

It is your wedding and you must do as you please. Turquoise is a stunning colour, and very flattering for all skin tones as well. Sometimes clashing colours work really well together, you obviously have a shade of orange in mind and can probably picture it easier than we can on here. I know that purple and orange look great together, so i see no reason why you should not have turquoise and orange

ok these people who say its ugly are crazy. i went to a wedding in august where the bridesmaids wore turquoise and carried the really pretty orangy rusty colored calla lillies and it was georgeous.I think as long as you be careful about your oranges, like not crayola orange, you'll be fine, but I promise, it was beautiful! They had lots of greenery in the bouquets too, so maybe that helped break it up, but if your careful about the shades you pick, you'll be fine! congrats!

A deeper turquoise would be nice with cream and light orange flowers...Use mostly cream in the bouquets and use orange sparingly...

If you really need to use tuorquoise color , your accent colors can be woodend burgandy and add light grass green color to pull those 2 colors together. It can look very fall and elegant.

The orange probably wouldn't work with turquoise.
