That is a simplistic view. I think there are more dynamics involved with there beleifs however. I think with any organized religion.....it cannot be defined with just one sentance.

Many theistic Satanists think this way, as do certain branches of Gnostic Christianity.

Per capita, I imagine there are just as many confused beliefs among Satanists as there are confused theist beliefs among Christians, Jews, and Muslims.
