A Swiss doctor found that stimmulating a certain area of the brain bought about a sensation of a shift of soul to an area outside of the body. I have experienced this on one occaision. I had the feeling that part of my body was outside my body. Has anyone else had this feeling. I was Glad when Dr Olaf Blanke was able to provide an explanation. I'ts not being mad so please don't even go down that road.

no on a serious note its possible its a state of mind between being awake and asleep. its similar to sleep walking supposedly. i cant really remamber what happened when i had mine but it was really strange.

Its mant to be the same as the phantom amputee feeling that people get when you have your leg or arm amputated.

Thats the wonder of the brain my friend :D

I had a couple of them while I was taking a class at the Monroe Institute. Here's the website: http://www.monroeinstitute.com/

Bob Monroe coined the term OOBE (out of body experience) back before 1960. It is very real and it is not scary.

I had an out of body experience when I was giving birth to my daughter Holly.
I was on medication, but i was floating around the room looking at myself on the bed. I went to the end of the bed and i saw my daughters head pop out. Very weird at the time to be in two places at once but in the same room!

Yes! But Dr Blanke was wrong! It's not merely a sensation, it is an experience, a reality.

I think I used to have these kind of feelings when I was young, but not as an adult. I am very interested in the subject though.

In the 1970`s we used to practise this form & if we didn`t get back in time we had a splitting headache so make of it what you will.
