Why can't you date a black man? Culture reasons, your parents, personal things. I would re-examine why. Try to be his friend and get to know him. Don't stereotype him because of his color. You might find out that he's a really good guy.

There should be absolutely nothing wrong with people dating whomever they want no matter what race they are. Unfortunately we live in a nation that is riddled with racism. If you decide to follow your heart then I wish you the best. You will be persecuted from all sides, white, black, it doesn't matter- someone will have an issue with it. It takes a lot of work in any relationship, and that just adds to the problems. Good luck to you.

I'm sorry is there a law somewhere that says you specifically can not marry a black man? If he makes you happy and he is financially stable (as you are I am sure), then what is the problem. Skin color should not matter, he is no different than any other guy regardless of his skin color.

Forget him. I know it's politically correct to be colour blind, but too many mixed relationships fail, so why take the chance. The fact that you can't date this guy shows you are probably underage. Take your time. There are lots of guys out there. Think of it like buying a car. Take a few for a test drive before you bring one home.

It depends on your family values. Do you really like this guy? Do you think this relationship could have potential? If so then date him. Give it a chance. My boyfriend right now is white and I am black. My parents and the rest of my family aren't too happy with it but I love him and he is great to me. if you really like this guy go for it!

I agree with the first two. If you are under age, you're going to do exactly what your parents tell you to do. End of story. Second, interracial dating is more widely accepted today. Your parents will either learn to deal with it, or not.

If its your parents that disaprove of this then thats a tough one if you really like him and he likes you then i would just keep it on the low for awhile if its really love then u cant hide it forever and you shouldnt have to if people cant deal with it then thats their problem dont let other people make decisions for you

What does the color of his skin have to do with the price of tea in China? Love is color blind, if you like him, go out with him. If it's because you fear your parents won't approve, invite him over to study as a friend, let them meet him and see what he is like. They may surprise you.
