Unfortunately I can totally relate! Walk! And give South Beach a try. A hobby would be good too, and not collecting Disney movies! :) I quilt-it gets me involved and you have to go shopping for material-which can take awhile :) and you have to get up and press seams and cut. Of course it doesn't solve the single problem. For that get involved-in everything! Charity work, clubs (try Meet-up.com), frequent a coffee shop with a book at the same time of day (Starbuck tall, sugar free, low fat, vanilla latte), take a class at your local college(do your homework-find a few classes that you would like and check out the classes attendees the first night in each one and sign up for the one that has a few candidates). The more you are out there the better chance of finding someone you feel like spending time with. Chin up!

Hi that sounds like you are drifting to fantasy life due to depressing situations of your life, well been there done that. I was over weight and over 30 too after 4 kids and 4 c-sections. I felt no motivation and thought I would end up 1000 lbs before I died. I went to weight watchers and I know a lot of people don't like to go I was one until I started to lose the weight after going and got back down to under 130 lbs. I don't want this to sound like an advertisement but I found motivation with them. But first you have to go and get to a meeting it is really not that bad and you can go for free to the first meeting a lot of the times. I recommend to at least get your motor going to get with a group of people that have the same thoughts and attitude as you and then take it one step at a time there on out. I am not sure if you have a group near by but you can go to their website and check there. I hesitated to go for 10 years and I wish I had gone sooner because I could have loss the weight sooner if I did. This could be one way to help you loss the loser mode and get rid of the hopelessly overweight problem too. After you reach your goal you go for free for as long as you stay apart unless you go above you goal 2 lbs or more. You can even work there if you want afterward. That would also be a good way to make some new friends.
Not sure if this helps but I figure I would say it anyways.

Hey, isn't the saying that 30 is the new 20. You sound depressed. Just start slow. There is no such thing as hopelessly overweight. Don't look at everything all at once. You will feel overwhelmed just take things one day at a time.

By finding something to be motivated about. First, just go out. To the mall, to a restaurant for dinner... treat yourself well. Tell yourself that you deserve the best of everything and start working towards what you think that you deserve. The more you start moving, the more you will want to move. The pounds will start dropping, you will start feeling better about yourself... and who knows, maybe your special someone will walk into your life... or not... but get out there and LIVE.

Find some healthy foods you enjoying eating. Find a sport you like or go excersice with some friends. Reward yourself with say a hamburger or soda or chocolate. Get off your butt and do something!! It isnt that hard you just gotta have a passion for something or a hobby that will get you working and burning some calories.

Look i am 17 years old. I should have been 55 kilos and i am 75! So what? Just because you are overweight, that doesn't mean that you don't have life or dreams. You are unique and you must understand it, before it is late.

You're not even close to old. Go to the gym...the more you exercise, the better you will feel. Your attitude will improve and you will meet new people. And for the love of God, don't get a Goofy tattoo on your boob!

For starters, lay off the Little Mermaid marathons. Then go get a hobby or something.
