with some exceptions, a female of 5'7'' should be about 135. 185 might be on the heavy side, not sure if actually considered fat. I would hope not all guys are too shallow to ask a girl out just because of weight.

You are considered obese and need to take better care of yourself. The Healthy Weight Range for 5'7 is 127 - 159 pounds. Before asking a girl out, why not build your self-esteem and work on your health issues? I think everyone will benefit from a healthier you!

Absolutely not! He is a person, thus can ask a girl out, and probably wants to. He will have better success with how he dresses, presents himself, and how he treats girls. Yes losing weight would help, but not necessary, I've seen lots of very large persons get dates, get married, etc. Hopefully he will be mentally prepared for rejection, the cutest guys get rejected, and in our society is more likely to face that, but he also will get success. Persistance and trial and error may help, and maybe good friends. I would be reluctant myself on two basis: if there was no chemistry between us [I've been attracted to large men before], and I would be concerned for health. I don't want a b/f that has potentially high health hazards, I want one that will be around! Good luck to him!

NOPE!!!! IT'S not how u look really, It how u feel about yourself. If you feel depressed, then that vibe is felt by other ppl. If ur positive, then other can feel that ur confident. It is how u look at yourself. No one can love u until you learn to love who u are. Even if u are 215lbs or 100lbs, if they carry confidence then the guy will approch them. But who needs to worry bout what others think, you have to first be comfortable bout you, then others will follow.

No way!! Go ahead and ask. Don't even think about the weight. Let your confindence exude. It is important to be genuine. If the guy is only thinking of your weight then you will know he isn't the right one for you. Good luck and have fun!!

It is not your weight that is stopping you from asking a girl out, it is your low self-esteem. If you have a negative opinion about yourself, it will show in your attitude, and nobody wants to be around someone negative. Try to feel more positive about yourself, about your chances with girls, about the world in general.

that's a healthy height/weight for a girl. if you're a girl and are worried about a guy, ditch him before he decides to completely kill you self-esteem. if your a guy asking, you got issues. if you aren't attracted to girls with curves, then admit it.
