I would recommend a 55 gallon tank for an Oscar, but from what I've heard about Blood Parrots, I wouldn't combine them in the same tank. I had an Oscar and a Red Devil in a 55 gallon tank, and that was a HUGE mistake. The Red Devil tore the Oscar apart and we had to separate them.

I have oscars and I will tell you what I know. Contrary to prior advice, Oscar are only territorial when they are introduced to new fish. If your oscar is young and the other fish are young, they should be fine together. As for tank size, fish grow larger in a larger tank. I started with a 40 gallon for a couple years and then put them into a 55 gallon. In the 55 gallon my oscar grew an enormous size. We now have a 75 gallon tank although he won't grow anymore, he is comfortable and there is other room for the other fish. Don't get me wrong, sometimes oscars will eat the other fish in their tank but if you start them out together they should be fine. Oscars are called chilid (can't think of spelling) and if they are put in with other fish, they should also be this breed.

I would say 100 gallons minimum. Oscars can reach 12 inches in length, parrots can reach 10 inches and many plecos can reach over a foot long.

Well you need 1gallon of water for every 1 inch of fish. All the fish you named will grow to the tank size.
If you get all of the fish when they are small you should only need about a 55 to 75 gallon tank.
Good Luck!!!

At least 75 gallons. Oscars are very territorial and will kill other fish, not to mention, they get huge, so everyone needs a lot of room.
Do more research and talk to pet store employees. Not Petco or Petsmart, those people are idiots. Go to a specialty shop, the advise is more knowledgable and it's good to build a relationship with them, so they can help you when you need it.
Good luck.
