What shall I do?

Hi, I am 22 years old and my carrer has suddenly stopped. I moved to a different area and been doing temp jobs for nearly two years, office work.

I am now out of a temp job and fell like my life is going no where at the moment! I am an educated person with Apprenticeships in Administration and computer courses, But I need direction!!

Any kind of advice welcome! Thanks xx

Try to diversify - there are lots of things you can do with an apprenticeship, if you just know where to look. Try the local library for newspapers and career literature. It's always a good place to start. Also, you could try joining an agency (not temping since you've already been doing that) and let them do the hard work of looking for an appropriate job for you. At 22 yrs and with the credentials you have, you should have no problem finding the right job for you. Think laterally! Think positively!

I think a permanant job is a good place to start and if you are not entirely happy with what you are doing then maybe look at doing a part time enrichment course.

if u say u r an educated person then y have u just been temping for 2yrs!? get a proper job, that u enjoy and has room for promotion. go to some recruitment agencies and see what happens next...

if you are still alive, I think you have every reason to get your life going on by getting a job with your certificate on the computer studies. I dont know where you are presently but I believe that you have alot to life for.

Go to see a career guidance person. Or you could go off travelling for a year, send me a postcard!!!
