Because you love him because you need to love him not just want him because you are lonely cause in the end you just hurt him and yourself.

If "being crazy" for someone is an important part of a relationship for you - then perhaps he isn't your guy. I've had realtionships where I've been "crazy" about a person, but none ultimately worked out; my husband and I have never had much of a "crazy" stage, but it just felt "right" to be with him; I knew after three months that I would like to marry this person. "Being crazy" doesn't last for long, but the good feeling and the friendship can last a lifetime. I chose the latter. It's kind of up to you to figure out what's important to you, and follow it. No one can tell you how YOU are feeling; being in touch with your own inner world comes with practice.

hmmm, well love is built up over time, so yes i think you could grow to love him. He seems to like you and you will realise whether you have strong feelings for him if you start up a relationship. Lack of romance could be a reason for you wanting to be in a relationship so yes, you might be lonely at the minute, but maybe give the relationship a go. Then you can decide whether its loneliness or reality. Only you know how you truely feel.

I would say you're just lonely. It could grow into something more, but there's no sense in waiting around if you're not sure. It could just end up wasting time for both of you. If you're not feeling that spark now, it could result in more trouble and be harder to get out of as time passes if you decide to keep it going, waiting for something to grow.

I'm going through the same thing as you at the moment, and I'm in my 30's. But I think if you are calling him geeky you probably don't see him as the love of your life!

I wouldn't overlook him. Only time will tell. Why worry about it now? Let things fall into place by itself unless you've already got your eyes on someone else. You'll realize if you love this guy when you decide to date someone else and suddenly, you can't stop thinking about him and miss him like crazy. Its only called "love" if it works out.

if u are interested at all in anyone else.. if u have feelings for new guys, hot guys, friends, or think u can do better...anything that has to do with dumping him or wishing someone else new would can treat u better, that will clue u into how important this guy is. it will tell u if u are with him for convenience, or if you choose him verses everyone else out there!

well if you are attracted to him, i think that is important. u shouldn't try to force attraction for someone, you'll just always feel like there could be someone out there better, and then you'll feel guilty for thinking this way.
