My hair gets staticy when I blow-dry and straighten or curl it in the winter. Is there a way to fix this?

Your not going to believe this but there is one product you can use and it will not hurt your hair. It's not for the hair but (Static-guard) will work..... I am not joking. I tried it and it worked. Just use a little, though. Also I found out to always use a conditioner that's made for your hair (in the winter time,) then you won't have to use anything else, hopefully. Its the conditioner that helps your hair not to be so fly-away.

If you over wash your hair, it will actually get greasier because you are trying so hard to get rid of all the oils in your scalp that your pores now have to over compensate for the oils it has lost, therefore producing too much oil making your hair greasy. But, you must have oily hair, so you probably cannot go more than a day or two without washing your hair. Buy a shampoo and conditioner with a good PH balance and possibly natural with no sulfur in order for your hair to regain its natural chemistry. Wash your hair no more than once a day and always condition afterwards.

Use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner and, after you blow-dry, use a silicon shine product on your hair. Dryer sheets do work, but I wouldn't use it on your hair all the time.

Use Bed Head Party thingy. I use it and it works great. also, use leave in conditioner and don't brush your hair too often. After you have brushed your hair, use a pick to get other problem knots out. It really helps.

run a dryer sheet over it real lightly before you go out. it';s a quck fix. but if it's a serious problem, try a deep moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. it could also be if you live in high-altitudes.

you need to use Got-2-be; orange hair goo. It smells pretty good; use just a touch that works for me cause that happens to me to. i look like i stuck my finger in a light socket in winter.

try using a good leave-in conditioner before you blow dry. it works...or at least helps me. my favorite is biolage, smooth therapy.
and if you use a pommade or wax after you've styled it helps too.
