i was wondering if you could maybe put Cheerios on a string or something and your bird could nibble off it or something but I don't know if it's bad for them or somethng...

Cheerios are fine but the string is dangerous. I've had 2 birds nearly die from getting something wrapped tight around their neck. Maybe a bunch of shower rings linked together with cheerios on them would be better.

Should be fine, mockingbirds really like them. I suggest getting a pine cone, rubbing peanut butter all over it and rolling it in cheerios rather than using the string as a bird might ingest it.

It sort of depends more on whether the bird likes them. What kind of bird?
My tiels love corn and rice chex, they eat some but I think they have more fun crunchin them up.
just remember not to give to many treats and not enough fruits and veggies.
It may help to search the net for a list of things that are bad for bird...the list is too long to put up here

We give our bird cheerios, and she loves them, nothing has happened to her.

Yes, I have a blue crowned conyor(spelling) and she eats anything and everything. I've asked the vet and he said that I should watch her nutritional intake, but as long as she'll eat, let her eat what she likes.

they are whole grain,so far,far better than white bread.or chemical laced treats,
but make sure, ask with your vet.
some birds need very specific diets to live long and healthy.

They probably would like them, as long as they're the plain kind. I used to give them to my hamster, anyway. I think my cockatiel ate them too, but i don't remember, it was about eight years ago.

Yes but not as a normal diet, just as a snack.
