and I try to avoid them unless I really have to go. Why do people leave it in such a bad state? do they do the same thing at home?? some of them forget to wash their hands! surely this is not something they do at home?

Some people are lazy they dont want to clean up after themselves, so they leave it whatever way they want. But at home they care because they know that they would have to see the mess every time they go in there. But if they leave it in a public bathroom they know someone will clean up after them...I dont know..

Well it is all because it's a public services, since it doesn't belongs to anybody, then why would they even bother to even maintain it. As for the part where they washes their hands after using it, its just an separate individual behaviour. If they don't wash up in public then that is how do it at home.

Some are clean some aren't. I've already seen sh it smeared on the back of the seats in the ladies bathroom. I can't even imagine how it got way back there? For that matter one time I saw it smeared on the wall????? And too many times the women urinated standing up and sprayed all over the seat, n ot bothering to wipe it off. And I'm talking totally soaked here!

public restrooms are gross because of ton of people use them..its not like your home, when its just yourself and family that uses that, obviously making it easier to keep clean..not like you are going to go to a public restroom..take care of business..then clean the toilet afterwards...and over time it all builds up into the disgusting mess...and why do you care whether or not they wash their hands..i agree that if its a public restroom they should because ya never know who was on the seat before you, but i know guys using urinals dont always wash up after..as long as ur only touching ur body parts, u should know whether or not they are clean or not..and if u think someone didnt wash their hands..well, dont touch their hands..just make sure u wash up when u get ur change back from mcdonalds, next time you open the door to your house, or when you are picking up groceries at the super market

i get so damned angry when people f-up a public toilet...i personally would never use one but what about the poor souls with bladder trouble who cant hold it and HAVE no choice but to use the public toilet? is it asking too much for a person to flush? to not clog up the damn pipes with too much toilet paper? is it asking to much to ask that people not sh*it ON the seat but IN the toilet? people just have no respect for the toilet! its disgusting! this is a subject that really boils my potatoes because as a mom of a small little girl sometimes i have no choice but to take her into public restrooms and when i see the filth inside them i say to her...little kitten just pee-pee in your pants because this bathroom isnt fit for humans to use...and yes their bathrooms at homes are just as dirty i am sure!

People can be very nasty! For all you who say you use hand sanitizer it does not kill everything, soap and hot water is always your best bet! There is a nasty disease called C-Diff and it can live for 12 months in hand sanitizer! Always remember to use a paper towel to turn off the water and open the door!

Yuck. At my office, some ppl forget to flush! And there are those who don't wash their hands. Disgusting! They're lucky they don't get sick! Carry hand sanitizer with you so you can use it later.

the just do not care because they do not have to clean the mess that they leave, ew it's so gross!
& they should wash their hands , ew POTTY PAWS !
PS I carry hand sanitizer in my purse & my car
that helps alot, some bathrooms do not even have soap!
