I've just started in a new relationship, but i get really embarassed around the other person, he makes me so nervous how can i make our relationship work? i want to get in a relationship with him its just so difficult because I'm so self conscious

if he doesnt make a move and he seems like not the shy type, tell him what you feel, i know its hard but it has to be done. if hes a good boyfriend hell reassure you saying you look fine. if not , hes not worth it. REMEMBER dont be self conscious, he wouldnt be going out with you if he was unhappy with you or didnt like you

Each new relationship is different and things are always awkward at the beginning. Open up to him and put yourself out there, ask about his interests and show an interest in what he likes to do, as boring as they may be, but it will show him that you are interested in him and relax around him. At the beginning it is good to go out with mutual friends if ye have some. Then the awkwardness is reduced, or else take some of your friends out with him and his friends and integrate, it will make things easier when ye have friends to discuss that ye both know, and a night out is always something to talk about! Good luck and remember its a new relationship, take things slowly and if ye are meant to be together things will slip into place naturally. The nervousness is a natural thing, you will get over it when you know him better.

You're in the exciting phase of a new relationship,and probably wondering where it could lead to. But don't dwell too much on the future-appreciate the here and now. This guy chose to be with you-so don't be self conscious! He's attracted to you-enjoy it!

Sounds like you like him so much that it is making you feel self concsious, maybe because you worry that you aren't good enough for him or some such nonsense...
Be honest with him about everything.. If he likes you and wants it all to work, and he is sensitive, then he'll try to put you at your ease...
Go with the flow and enjoy it... ;)
