Get him an education. Teach him to read books. You have given him things. Give him ideas. Start with the Chronicles of Narnia, in BOOK form. There are thousands of books about adventure that lead to imagination. After the Chronicles there are the Lord of the Rings books, from there Don Quiote. He needs to be taught to listen, to learn and to produce his own stories. It will lead to success in life. The things you list are not real. Introduce him to such wonders as faith and caring for others. Robinson Crusoe, Huck Finn, Tom Sawyer. After he learns these things he can read about his beloved Yankees because there are hundreds of books that recreate games, but don't go there until he has done the Hardy Boys and Tom Swift! Learn to do his own "Tom Swifties!" There is so much learning out there for someone his age! I'm old and I read this youthful joys again and again and all my friends guess that I am 30 years younger than I present. Email me for more ideas. I can't do it, but he may need a tutor or a mentor to show him the joys of these things. Check with your school, they may have a mentoring program. If he is bright enough to be bored with paintball and xbox he may have the intellect to think and imagine!! Best of luck! I hope this has helped!

An ipod is a safe bet or anything electronic I would guess. Also just to elaborate on the NY Yankees gift you mentioned you could create a gift basket with different types of Yankee items baseball cards of the team members, baseball cap, maybe one of those teddy bears with a NY Yankees outfit etc.

I bet he'd like a club house. you can go to Toys R Us and get one of those plastic ones, or find something like it. and get a table with some little chairs, decorate it with NY Yankees stuff, maybe paint it in camo colors. He can invite his friends over and they can make their boy's club :D

We can't help you know what he wants, but he can.
Have him go to sites like e-bay and Toys R Us online and "shop" with him for things that interest him. He'll say things like "cool" or "thats stupid".
How about a dirt bike... if he likes the go cart, he might like to try dirt biking.
My son really loves golf... who woulda guessed??? So ask him, play with him, watch commercials with him. See what he responds well too.
Have fun and God Bless!

If he likes to hunt, get him a trip to hunt with a tour hunter. It can be pretty costly but well worth it from what I understand. They have hunters in Arizona and all over the North US.
