I'm the maid of honor for my mother's wedding. I need to set up a bachelorette party that will be the sickest party that no one will forget. The crowd is going to be mostly 40-somethings, and I don't really want to go to any "inappropriate" places. Any ideas??

Is your mom a party girl or more laid back? Take that into consideration while you're planning.

Mexican restaurants are always fun and festive, go to a locally owned restaurant rather than a chain though. They're just better.

Everyone can meet at your house before or after to open all the fun presents. Have chips, salsa and drinks for everyone. You can get a pinata and fill it up with lots of funny gag items (get them from a local party supply store or online). You could put mardi gras beads, lei's, temporary tattoos, condoms, etc. in the pinata too.

Another idea is to have a Sex & the City theme party at your house. Run one of the DVD's on the t.v. in the background and serve up some cocktails. Decorate with pink and black balloons. Play some fun music too. Order Chinese food in, or go to the restaurant.

I simply discovered this useful resource referred to as Lingerie Party Fun that has occasion subject matters, loose printables, recreation suggestions, making plans guidelines and extra. Have a laptop or 2 established at your occasion and your peers can seek our website to discover what they prefer. Sometimes bridesmaids or feminine peers and loved ones plan a underwear occasion for the bride. At Lingerie Diva now we have bridal underwear that probably a aid, too.
