He is 13 weeks old and 15 ounces. Anyone know what he will weigh as an adult? I know standard Yorkies will grow to be 7 lbs or less, but he is tiny. I'm just asking if anyone knows from experience. Thanks.

Okay, I'm just asking if anyone has ever had a puppy that was this little. I'm not concerned, but its just that the breeder said he wouldn't be over 3lbs. I'm just wondering if she's going to be accurate.

I don't think it's really something to worry about. I have a yorkie and she's 3 -4 years old and she's still only 3 lbs, and she's still really healthy and everything.

My daughter has a female Yorkie that is full grown and weighs about 6 pounds but her male only weighs about 2 1/2 pounds and he is 2 years old. Yours will probably be under 3 pounds.

no i don't think the breeder is accurate i don't own a yorkie but i study them from birth until adult hood there was one yorkie that weighed 15oz. at 15 weeks but as it grew it reached 6lbs. at the age of 5 years old. i'm sure your puppy will gro to be a nice healthy dog
GOOD LUCK

the wesight of an adult dog can vary because of many factors such as parents size, number in the litter, his order in the litter, wellness as a puppy, etc. That said most Yorkies are 5-7 lbs

my yorkie is full grown and he may weigh 4 to 5 pounds. My cat named morris on the other hand weighs 30 pounds so maybe the cat and dogs have exchanged eating habits, but yorkies are small dogs I dont think it is their nature to be fat.

UNDER-SIZED is just as TERRIBLE a ***FAULT*** as OVER!!

Go read the BREED STANDARD!!!

PS: there's NO SUCH THING as a "standard" OR "teacup" OR "toy" OR "mini" Yorky!!! There's ***ONLY*** CORRECT or CRAP!
