Despite great effort there is as yet no medication prescription or over the counter which has been demonstrated to lead to weight loss. Body Mass Index rather than weight is the proper notion. BMI is your weight in kg divided by your height in m2. For those whose BMI is greater than 40 surgery is indicated and insurance nearly always pays for this.

Diet pills don't work. Examine what you eat, make a daily log, and see if there is something unhealthy you are still eating. When I got to a plateau and couldn't lose those last 20 stubborn pounds, I examined what I was eating and drinking closely, and it seemed the only thing left that could possibly be causing a problem was milk so I decided to try eliminating that from my diet and boy did that ever work. I started losing the weight really fast, and as well found that I could eat more than before & still lose weight. Who would have thought that milk had stopped me from losing weight.
Keep in mind that throughout my diet I have been working out 2 hours a day 6 days a week, and continue to do so even after discovering milk was causing some of my weight problem. Worinkg out will always be necessary to keeping your weight down, period!

Diet pills are never the answer. When you hit a plateau, try switching up your routine. A plateau is usually your body getting used to your exercise, if you change it, the weight loss will continue. If you run, try spinning. If you do a certain lifting routine, change your exercise. If you have money to spend on pills, get a trainer and tell them you need a new exercise program. You only need a trainer for about a month, just write down everything they tell you and all the exercises they make you do. If you get pills, you have to be on them the rest of your life in order to maintain the weight loss.

Just to let you know you are only slightly overweight but your main goal is to not stop eating or cut back because you might still be growing, but you do need to exercise alot more if you're not a runner, biking and walking is good. Also I really like to play sports with my friends it's fun and a good way to exercise and lose weight. Running and dancing are probably the best ways to lose weight.
