Yipeee! I got my first abuse email for making a negative statement about the poor misunderstood, persecuted muslims. I would first like to thank God, my mother and father, the Academy and all the people who helped me get here (lol).....

Is it me or are we just a little too sensitive in the U.S. today? People's feelings get hurt so easily. Arabs really know how to work the system too. They observe how things work and then use it to their advantage to make our own laws work against us and we're too stupid to see it. We're so pussified.

And thanks Yahoo. If I came on here and said that God is dead well then, that would be perfectly acceptable. Thanks Yahoo for this forum where free speech is so totally......unacceptable.

Alex, you're assuming that I would report someone who said that God is dead, which I would not. Its you're right to that view. So...nice try.

I agree. Yahoo seems to be run by a bunch of Nazis that would rather squash free speech than have an open forum. Granted, there isn't any need for explicit vulgarity, but I've had answers deleted just because someone didn't agree with my opinion.

Yahoo states in their Rules of Conduct that by using this site you understand that you will read things that are disagreeable or even offensive, and to expect it. So why do they delete answers when someone whines?

It's pitiful, if you ask me. Perhaps they should put more effort into expanding or deleting categories as required instead of policing our thoughts like Big Brother.

Wow, whatja get a violation for talking about muslims? Some stupid excuse for a human being wrote a question this morning about eating his daddy's you know what white stuff only he said the word and when I reported it to Yahoo, they didn't do anything. They didn't even remove the question but when I ask, "what are you all having for supper tonight?" I got a violation, too! Whatssup with this site, really.

"If I came on here and said that God is dead well then, that would be perfectly acceptable."

Nietzsche said that god is dead. I frequently say he's an imaginary character that people grow out of as they grow up. How is it acceptable to report alternate viewpoints as violations just because they don't jive with your own?

So it seems you're kinda guilty of it yourself. So much for free speech.

Edit : You said it was acceptable to report people for saying god is dead. Maybe I took that quote of yours out of context? If so, than I appologize. But that was how I read it.

Well what did you say? I don't know if it was appropriate or not unless I see it. If it was a well thought out idea than yeah you were screwed over, but if it was racist propoganda than you got what you deserved.
