Why would you teach such superstitious nonsense to a helpless 4 year old?
That is the true definition of child abuse.

Have you looked at your local Christian book store? I would suggest that you take a trip there and browse the SSchool lesson plans. I have found some very good plans for older children at my local Berean store and I'm fairly sure that such plans exist for your age group.
Addendum: I see that you got a bunch of nonsense messages from the Bible bashers while I was typing. Don't pay any attention to them. They apparently have heard the message and rejected it. Maybe they will come to their senses in time, but right now they are just collecting points and having fun bashing.

Here where live, we have a store called the Shepard Shop and it has a section for children. You can find a lot of stuff if you go to a book store.

Well, you could tell them why the sky is blue. Hint: it's not because god made it that way. Or you could tell them how the universe came about. Hint: it wasn't god. Or you could tell them where people came from. Hint: it wasn't god. Or is this too over your head? Poor kids. Hopefully, they won't remember a word of it.

Instead of fostering superstition, how about you give them basic information about how land is formed and why the sky is blue?

Be creative. Make something out of clay as you explain how God spoke things into creation.

I bought a children's Bible for my 4 year old and we read through it every night...its easy to explain what the moral of the stories are...if you know what they are.
