This guy on another rescue squad gave me his business card and wrote his home and cell numbers on the back of the card and told me to call him. (He wanted me to go out with the rest of his squad for drinks. ) However, because I was moving (seriously, no lie) I called him a week and a half after he gave me his numbers and left a message on his machine. Its been four days since I've called and I feel horrible that I called him so late..but the move was crazy.
Should I be worried? Do you think he will call me?

I wouldn't worry about it, nor would I call again. You made the effort and hopefully in your message you explained how crazy the move was and told him who you were down to the very last detail. If he's interested he'll give you a call back. He could be very busy or debating on whether or not he should call you. I wouldn't call him back again for the simple fact that he might think you are stalking him so just give it some time, and if he never calls, then move on. Its not worth getting worried or upset about.

A week and a half is not that long of a time to wait before calling. You do have a life, after all?! And I suggest that you not call him again....he'll either call you soon or he has other things in the works. Either way--go on with the business of living and don't worry about it.

It doesn't matter. Now he thinks he is in command because now he knows your into him. If you would have called the night of the drinking with the squad thing then he could have thought he needed to pursue you yet. But I admire you having the guts to call him. I say if he calls say "oh I was having alittle get together and since you invited me to your thing I was going to invite you to my thing.". Make it look like you were returning the favor. But always play hard to get.

Why don't you just call him again and if he answers explain to him what happened. If he is any kind of man at all he will understand. If he does not, then you wouldn't want to date him anyway.
If he don't answer, leave the explanation on his machine.

don't worry, he'll call when he gets ready, you can decide to call back but it probably won't matter. if he never calls or answers though, it will be his lost on meeting you, good luck doll!!!!
