Of course not. How could that be possible? our government wouldn't do that to us would they? Now to research this question I called the government and asked them. They said no. They also said we don't have an illegal alien problem. Oh sure maybe a few, 20 million tops, undocumented workers but not an illegal alien invasion. You trust the government to do what is in your best interest don't you? Here check this out:
http://www.jonesreport.com/articles/131006_food_stamp.html
They advertise on KAMERICAN to inform you of these great giveaway programs don't they?
Read far enough and you find this;
In 2004, Department of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Service and the Mexican Embassy agreed to jointly disseminate brochures and create the public service announcements.
The agreement led Mexican Consul Luis Miguel Ortiz Haro to tout the food stamp program on Univision's KMEX Channel 34 six weeks ago.
"This program is not welfare. It won't affect your immigration status," Ortiz Haro said on television.
"The program is a right, and if we don't use it, it's a privilege that will pass you by."
Do I believe illegals are the recipient of services bought and paid for by American Citizens....you bet I do.

It is difficult for an illegal alien to get a HUD home, but I have seen reports (probably reliable) that certain officials have looked the other way and allowed this to happen. Other services we see being used by illegals everyday. Since hospitals are not allowed to turn anyone away, if an illegal gets sick, that is where they go. They may just have a cold, but the hospital has to treat them regardless of ability to pay. In this case, they are making very sick patients wait even longer for treatment, and the tax payer is picking up the tab. If they have children while in the US illegally, the children are US citizens and can qualify for food stamps and other government benefits. They also go to public schools at tax payer expense. While one can argue that no one should be denied an education, public schools have a finite capacity and a finite amount of funds. When the funds are used up, programs have to be cut, thus degrading the quality of education for all students.

My friend is a HUD inspector - it happens all the time - very few of the HUD "rules" are enforced. Men, drugs, filth, Lexus, 60" TV;s... are rampant.
What I don't understand is why some of these big shot lawyers haven't jumped on this...not particularly HUD but the fact our government is not following the laws - nor their oaths of office - I suppose they all got rich suing the tobacco companies. Seems to me there are enough Americans dissatisfied over the illegal alien debacle to have a class action suit. Maybe after the elections the losing side will do something to set their party up to win in 2008. Wish I knew somebody....

Yes and Yes!! It may also be possible that we (legal Americans) do in fact qualify for HUD among other benefits that are given to illegal families. The question is how do we correct the situation? It doesn't seem to matter who is in office, no one seems to listen to the people. Once upon a time I thought the people elected officials to represent them. I guess that doesn't apply anymore.

I doubt that legal Americans are discriminated against by HUD. I don't think anyone who qualifies is being turned down.

As for HUD, I am not sure. However, there is evidence that many that apply for food stamps, Medicaid, etc are given preferential treatment, but those that determine eligibility deny it. There is a rumor that all illegals are eligible for the programs I mentioned, but they can only get these benefits for their children that are born in the USA or that are here legally.

Yes and Yes to both of your questions. It is such a shame the programs we have are not readily available to us legal Americans. We pay for these programs and are being passed over to help some family of illegals that don't deserve to be helped. I wish that there was a way to rid this country of the illegals. Maybe a bounty on them like the police do on the news stations when they putout an A.P.B. on a fugitive?

I do think that illegal immigrants are gaining access to social services that Americans really should have first.

This topic used to anger me so much as a tax paying legal american. There are 2 sides to the issue. If you were living in a rat infested adobe with no clean water watching your kids grow up like that and you couldn't afford to come over legally, wouldn't you risk your life for a better life for your children? Yes, some are criminals but many aren't. They're just people trying to grab hold of the american dream just like we are. Let's help them do it rather than tossing them all back into the terrible situations they came from. I wish every child in the world could grow up here. There must be an answer, a happy medium where all would be happy?
