In Arabic "Hi" or "Hello" is very simple one, namely "Halla" ( it is most widely used from quite all Arabs) as well as "Marhaba". Of course you can say it a little bit more formally, that is "Assalamu alaykum" ( it has also religious sense) or "Ahlan"( which is the abbreviated form of "Ahlan wa sahlan").
Hope that is of help.
Have a nice day!
