You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

What is your waist measurement? It may not be as bad as you think. If your waist is 28 inches or less, then you are ideal. If it is 32 inches or more, then you need to take action for health reasons. It may be a case of weight loss and toning, or just toning. Lots of situps and crunches with an exercise ball and weights will be helpful as well as kickboxing aerobics which really works out the waist area. HTH : )

You need to do 40-50 crunches on the floor each morning when you wake up, and in the evening before you go to bed. Sit-ups are the #1 method of ridding your mid-section of excess fatty tissue. Good luck!

Do loads of cardio with sit ups afterwards. And remember to eat right by staying away from fast food's transfat. Actually, stay away from fast food all together...you can't go wrong there.

Dr. Mercola from the web site http://www.mercola.com says do not eat grains. Grains make your waistline thick. No bread, dough nuts, pizzas, cakes, cookies...anything made with flour. Also corn and rice are grains.

You can try the Elliptical Machine or get a personal trainer. Running also works

Pilates...i swear by it.
I got really toned from it especially in my stomach...and i grew almost an inch because my spine and legs were more stretched out.
You just have to be persistant with it.

well no matter what, you can't lose weight from one area. you need to do cardio just like you would do to lose weight from anywhere. usually the weight comes off your tummy first anyway!
