Typical. Seems to be the theme for these Evangelical Preachers. They tell everyone else how they are supposed to live a "pure" life, while they are doing the exact opposite. I find it sickening when some people support people like Haggard, crying that everyone should pray for him, etc... Yet if it were anyone outside of their group, they would be condemning that person - even if that person "repented" of what they had done. Look at how they treated former Pres Clinton.

"I didn't inhale...or impale." ~ Rev. Ted Haggard

I do not celebrate the failures of my fellow human beings, even if they stand on the opposite side of issues I consider important, but Ted Haggard has been exposed as a hypocrite and it is just that he suffer humiliation for it. Part of me is glad that his ranting and raving against homosexuals has been silenced at last; unfortunately, others will take up the chant. Mostly, I'm sad that he considers his homosexuality a grievous fault. It is not. His religion has made him believe that something perfectly natural is a sin, and it forced him to hide his real feelings. I feel sorry for him on that account, and especially for his family.

I feel very sorry for this man. I can imagine his life has been ruined. I would hope that he would see the sin in his life and repent of it, because if he truly does this, and desires to walk a righteous path the rest of the way, God will restore him. I know we serve a merciful God...and I pray we all can show mercy, knowing that we are all sinners in need of mercy.

I think that another person has fallen victim to the deceiver. And now the buzzards of unbelievers are circling and rejoicing in his sin.

I also think that this is a very good opportunity for Christians to openly forgive him and ask that God look after him and his family during this terrible time.

I wouldn't care, except that it's just another example of some high & mighty bible-thumper being just as twisted as the rest of society.

His wife said that she'll stay with him despite what he's done. So he's a lying, cheating, gay meth-head, but thank God that they're still observing the precious "marital sanctity" that their kind want to deny others.

Sad, very sad. It brings to mind that "there but for the grace of God, go I". The devil will go after the public figures the most, I'm glad I'm a nobody.

I think that it is a lesson for all of us who think we wouldn't fall into this trap to realize that we could be easily fall into satan's traps like anyone else.

I pray that he'll pick himself up and finish this race called life victoriously.

Live by the sword: Die by the sword. Even if it's only a 10 inch sword.

Another instance of hypocrisy. I hope America finally smartens up about those who are the most vocal about their "morality." No mind is dirtier than a prude's.
