It could be "hey" as in Yo, whats up.
or
"You" as in What's up, yo.

It has a few meanings, it just depends on what context its used in.
Hey Yo! (That means whats up or hi)
Yo Mama ! (That means "your" but just short)
Yo whats up? (Used in the place of someones name)
Where can I get some ya-yo? (Meaning some good green/marijauna)
