Whenever you receive a service and pay for it, you should be completely satisfied with that service. If you are not, tell your stylist. She or he will usually offer to correct the problem for free. If they give you a hard time or refuse to fix the problem, go directly to their manager and tell them that you are unhappy with both the service AND the stylist, and would like another stylist to fix the problem free of charge. Managers generally understand the principles of word-of-mouth marketing, good and bad, and will be most happy to accommodate your wishes. If the manager refuses, go directly to the owner or the parent company (if it is a chain). Very few salons can afford unhappy customers, particularly since most of their advertising is word-of-mouth between customers and potential customers.

A reputable salon should not charge you if you are unhappy with the results. But honestly, they may not know they did a bad job unless you tell them. Sometimes, even if it's obvious, they might not be aware. Plus, they're a business and if they can still get you to pay, they're going to charge you. You definitely need to speak up if this happens again. Tell them you are very unhappy with the color and you would like a senior stylist to fix it at no charge (I wouldn't trust that same person to do it again). If they do not comply, I would tell them they just lost a customer and that you have a lot of friends and will spread the word that not only do they not know what they're doing, but that they have terrible customer service.

if they are orange, tell the stylist you don't like the color, and they will fix it for you. i had a stylist turn my hair white with orange stripes, and my family forced me to go back to get it fixed (because i am the kind of person that will just smile, and then go home and cry!) they will fix it for free. at least toni and guy did it for free! just let them know that the color isn't what you wanted, and hopefully they can fix it.

they do because they know that you will be stupid enough to pay them and then if it happens again just tell them that u want to get it free for a bad job done and if you haven't been with this hairstylist for long find a new one but if you have been going to them for a while just don't ever get highlights from them again

my hairstylist gave me a bad perm where i was bleeding and my scalp was burned but i had been with her for some time so i just didn't get a perm from her for a while even though this was the first time this had happened but after that when i did get another perm from her everything was fine

If you weren't happy you shoud have said so and had them do it over or not charge you!! You should still go back and complain!! They should fix it or give you a coupon for a free highlight. You have to stand up for yourself out there!!

you have to tell them you dont like it if you smile and walk out the door how do they know your unhappy, your situation is easily fixed with a toner and will take the stylist all of five minuts.

well that is just the way business is.They might think you might like it and they don't want 2 insult u because that could take business away for they're poor personality. And go back once more and if it happens again and they still act the same way tell them taht you won't be back.

They don't care how it looks like as long they get paid for it. You should have told him that you didn't like it. I'm sure he would have fixed it but he wouldn't have given your money back.
