whats the difference between 1.7 rockers an1.6 rockers

It gives you a little more cam lift without going into the engine and changing cams (poor mans cam upgrade) :)

1.7 rocker opens the valve a little more than a 1.6 rocker by multiplying the cam's lift by the rocker arm ratio. Hypothetically speaking, if you have a cam that has a lobe that's .100" high, the 1.6 rocker would open the valve .160", and the 1.7 rocker would lift it .170". It's a decent mod, even better when you have other things like a good intake, etc. to support it.

A1.7 rocker will open the valve .1 inches or 1/10 of an inch more than a 1.6 ratio rocker will. Be sure that with the cam that you choose, that you will have enough piston to valve clearance so as not to bend any valves if you are using a high duration cam.

gives your cam more lift exaclty what these guy's said. The 1.6 is less lift than the 1.7
