What are toast points?

I'd put the cheeseball in the center of a platter. Around the cheeseball, I'd arrange in a circle a variety of crackers, pita chips, bruschetta chips, or whatever you intend the cheese to be spread on.

For presentation purposes, I usually also put some fruit on the corners of the platter. I try to keep it seasonal - grapes in the summer and spring, pears and apples in the fall and winter. Sometimes, I put all 4, depending on what I have around and what color the cheese is - for example, I would avoid red apple and grapes when I'm putting out a port wine cheddar, since red is already covered.

Green leaf lettuce with the cheeseball in the center then crackers/toast points surrounding the ball

A rough looking lettuce/cabbage. If it is too smooth, the cheeseball will be out of place. Since I don't know what is accessible in your area, it is hard to state specifics. Just look for nice colors / textures.

When you cut a slice of toast - from corner to corner, then the other corner to corner, you have "toast points".

Roll cheese ball in chopped fresh parsley - for a pretty look.
Put cheese ball in center of serving platter and surround with your little piles (or in small dishes) of vegetables and crackers.

If the cheeseball is covered with nuts, lay it on a trimmed romaine lettuse leaf and fan whole-wheat or whole-grain crackers around it.

Lettuce or cabbage - for an orange/yellow cheese ball. Some cheese balls have red in them and then red cabbage is really pretty. I have also used the crackers as the platform for the cheese ball or I have put it in a decorative bowl.
