Depends on what's in the salad. I'd add a multivitamin just to be safe.

You can add beans and other legumes for protein.

Make sure there's a wide variety of greens, not just plain iceburg lettuce.

Use fresh, quality ingredients. Avoid fast food salads that are all ancient piles of iceburg lettuce and a few old tomatoes.

Get RID OF the dressing! This is a huge mistake people make who want ot lose weight or be healtheir. They don't realise a salad with dressing can have as much fat & calories as a sandwich. Dressings are also full of preservatives and chemicals, and they rarely have nutritional value.

Also skip the "Chef" salads. They're piled of preserved higher fat lunchmeats and cheapo cheeses on a bed of lettuce.... not healthy or low fat.

That depends on what you put on your salad. You need protein, carbohydrates, & fiber. You can get all that on a salad... meat, cheese, hard boiled eggs, or some combinations of beans & starch can be your protein. Fiber is in a lot of vegetables, fruits and nuts. Carbs would be in some toppings like nuts, croutons, or if you eat bread or rolls with your salad.

Just make sure you're getting everything you need. If you're worried take a multivitamin, drink milk with your salad, or eat ceral with milk, have a sandwitch or some pasta now and then. It IS possible to get all your nutrition on salads if you do it right though... they're versatile and you can put just about anything you want on them.

It's okay to eat only salads, but make sure you are getting protein still. Chicken and cheese are a great way to get the nutrition that you need. Also, make sure you are eating the green lettuce, not iceberg. The green lettuce will give you plenty of vitamins.

You have to eat a variety of food (from the food group) to get all the proper nutrients and you need the proper amount of calories to feel satisfied. Plus there is only so much you can do with a salad, eventually you'll get tired of it.

You still need to make sure you eat foods from all the food groups. You can not just survive on just vegetables. After a while if you eat exclusively just salads you could become sick because your body starts to shut down because it doesn't have the proper nutrition.

depends on what you put in your salads. salads usually have no carbohydrates or protiens. try eating a veggie burger on a bun with your salad to get a more complete meal. make sure you get a healthy salad dressing. you need the oils but cheaper salad dressings have oils that aren't that good for you.

We are not equipped with a digestive system that can absorb greens the way some animals do. You are going to need something that provides you with some carbs and some protein. I do not recommend that you base your existence on roughage. You are not a rabbit, despite your desire to be one. If you want to be a vegetarian, educate yourself to what nutrition you need. I recommend you see a dietician.

If you find yourself fainting and feeling weak it is a DIRECT consequence of your poor diet. I'm not saying you have to eat meat, but you WILL need to eat some rice, potatoes, beans, and/or bread.

It can be safe and healthy if the salad combines all food groups in the right proportions.

no, you should eat separate portions of meat or eggs at least once a day to get enough protein.

if you just add it to salad, you might not put enough or put just a little, so just be careful not to replace the salad with other nutrients you need.

The more fresh raw veggies you eat the better your health will be. Just be very careful on the "salad dressings" as they are usually too fat.
