Is because of the differences in the density of each gas.
The air we breathe in is a mixture of about 73%Nitrogen, 26% Oxygen and 1% of some other elements.
The air we breathe out is mostly carbon dioxide and it has a density of about 1.98 kg/cubic meter, which is about 1.65 times the density of air.

Greater concentration of CO2 in the air that you exhale.
Since CO2 is more dense than the rest of the air (most of which is N2 and O2), it increases the overall density of your exhaled breath.
Counteracting this effect is that your exhaled breath is more humid than the surrounding air.The addition of H2O vapor tends to REDUCE the density of the air, since H2O is LIGHTER than N2 or O2.
Actually, I'm not sure that the NET effect would be an increase in density. But if you have to explain why exhaled air is heavier, the answer is: CO2

I would have thought that the increase in moisture of the air that is exhaled would have a bigger effect than the change in density from oxygen to carbon dioxide, because the actual change in carbon dioxide content is quite low.

Because the air we breath out is richer in CO2,
and CO2 is denser than air

The Oxygen we inhale is converted to carbon dioxide, which we exhale.
Oxygen (O2) has a nolecular weight of 32. Carbon Dioxide (CO2) has a molecular weight of 44.

We as quickly as had a canines who began crying everytime we moved her and she or he basically laid around. The vet suggested he ought to no longer locate something. It persisted and we took her to a distinctive vet. seems she have been bitten via a snake on her face. We went by using some mushy cases along with her. you realize your canines!!! in case you think of something is faulty, take her someplace else! it ought to shop her existence!!!
