I eat a lot of hot dogs and usually get the "potato buns" for the dogs. They seem to have a thicker texture. I'm wondering what they are and why they're called potato buns. Do they have a different recipe, ingredients, etc.?

Thank you

Rolls or bread made w/ potato as some of the starch to feed the yeast. Not a lot of difference.

Instead of bread yeast it just uses the base of a potato starch. I like it a lot more then regular bread. Try it and see if you like it.
