Its is not my place to judge. However, the scriptures tells us that each of these actions are equally bad. Loose conduct and hypocrites fall in the same light, because they are both considered acts of wickedness, or one who "sows with a view to the flesh." 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 says how fornicators, adulteres, men who lie with men, drunkards, gluttons, loose conduct will not inherit God's Kingdom." This scripture does not separate which act is worse than the other. It plainly states which action(s) [plural] does not get one life, or will not get you into God's Kingdom.
That is like saying which is worse, a male adult molesting a young boy or a worshiper of the Devil. They are both detestable. This is not Dante's Inferno, where there are different stages of hell, according to one's sins. The Bible is simple that it tells us the sort that will get life and the sort that will get life.
In terms of hell, that is just another way of saying mankind's common grave. People have this misconception of hell to be a place of torment, when that is not even the case. Even if it was, how would you know how? You would be dead. Even if you burned forever, you would not feel it because you would be conscious of nothing at all.
Let's remember that a sin is a sin is a sin. So, what's worse between an openly promiscous girl or Haggard? Neither. They are both equally bad because such ones will not enter God's Kingdom
Thanks

Sin is sin in the eyes of the living God.
Any and all sin is an abomination to the living God.
What Pastor Haggard did, doesn't change the living God we worship. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. God doesn't not change.
It just proves we are all in a position to fall. No human is perfect. We all struggle with sin.
The only people getting into Heaven are those that have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
God has already forgiven Pastor Haggard. Who are we to hold it against him?

I'm an atheist, but from a Xian point of view
1. You are honest, Ted is a liar
2. You don't say one thing, yet do another like Ted the Hypocritee
3. I'll assume you are heterosexually promiscuous (though cool with ME if you aren't) whereas Ted the Hypocrit chose to "sin" as a homosexual...which is apparently a double sin.
4. Neither will go to hell, as it is a fictional place. So next time you feeling the itch, give me a call ;)

Does it really matter? If you are doing something that you know is wrong then what does it matter who is more wrong? Are you trying to justify that because someone does something more wrong than you that it makes the wrong that you do okay? If that makes you feel better then how good is that feeling?
One wrong doesn't justify another or make one more or less than another. We all have our things that we each have done wrong but it does not make us good people just because someone else is worse.
Still it is a choice that each one of us makes on our own and end the end we each will have to answer for ever idle word that comes out of our mouth and I already have enough to answer for for myself so I won't pass judgment against anyone else.
I do hope that you find the real answer for your question but here is not where you will find it.

Worse, as in "human judgment"? I would judge Ted as worse, but I really have no say in the matter. It is what the judge of the universe has to say that matters.
I commend you on your honesty, by the way. I pray that you may find peace with your creator in both this life and in the life to come.

Well I'm not a Christian but I have no hesitation in saying that Ted is a tw*t and deserves any humiliation and ruin that might fall upon him. The ones who shout the loudest often seem to have the most to hide...

Well, when you have daughter, and you try to bring her up right, ask her. She might say both.
BTW, when you are older and married, and want to have affairs, will you tell your husband?
Just wondering. I know what you are trying to say, but, don't throw the first stone, yet. This guy did a lot with his life, in the midst of his problems. If you can get 14,000 people to believe in you, then throw the stone. He was human. I am sure he, his family, his friends are in great pain.
Take care!

I cannot judge you, but be careful of your promiscouity. It may drag you to a lot of heartaches and sufferings, like unwanted pregnacy, that may lead you to abort your babies conceived, which is murder. Or you could be afflicted with gonorreah, syphillis or at worst, aids.
I think God made commandments not for Himself but for our own good and protection, because all evil things that we do has repercussions and they backfire on us. You reap what you sow.

Going to hell is a moot point as there is no way that a God would ever create such a place.
I prefer a devil in the bedroom and a pricess everywhere else!
