Cuz normally a wrist watch is on the wrist... Its like sign language..Pointing at your crotch is totally different to go to the bathroom..You may be misunderstood..Can you imagine reaction the parents of the teenager you pointed at your crotch to in a crowded mall...How bout a woman all alone at a bus stop.. To many misinterpretations could be read into this and i will bet you 100 percent of them would never guess you needed to relieve yourself (of urine of course)

Now that's simple:
Pointing to your wrist can pretty much mean only one thing, asking for the time.
Pointing to your crotch could mean a couple of different things, like 'want sex?' 'Mine is bigger!' 'It's itchy' or 'gotta pee' But since the other person is just gesturing, how are you going to find out?? And how are you going to answer???
